Fort Care is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Nashville, Tennessee, dedicated to honoring military families, veterans, and active service members through honor packages and community support. Founded in 2019 with 115,000+ honor packages sent, Fort Care is one of only 3 organizations with an official MOU with the U.S. military.

Who Is Fort Care?

Fort Care was founded in 2019 by Ron Fahy and became a Military One Source partner in March 2020. Since then, we have been able to honor over 50,000 military members, families, and veterans through our program. We at Fort Care would love to partner with you to expand our foundation to be able to honor all our heroes across our beautiful nation.

We honor our Military Soldiers, Military Families, Military Members, and Veterans. Everyone in our operation are volunteers, including active duty military, military family members, and veterans. No one gets paid to do what we do. Every dollar donated goes directly to the expenses of getting food for our Fort Care honor packages.

What Does Fort Care Do?

Fort Care curates and delivers honor packages to deployed service members, provides transition support for veterans returning to civilian life, and builds community networks that connect military families with local resources. Each program is designed to address specific challenges faced by military-connected individuals and families.

Fort Care is 100% volunteer-run. No one gets paid — every dollar donated goes directly to the expenses of getting food for our honor packages. Why Does Fort Care Hold an Official MOU With the U.S. Military?

Fort Care is one of only 3 organizations in the United States authorized to operate directly on military bases through an official Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the U.S. military. This partnership allows Fort Care to deliver honor packages, host events, and provide support where service members live and work. Underserved bases across the country are requesting Fort Care's presence, and our current donor drive funds expansion to these installations.
