Understanding the Concerns of Military Families
The ongoing conflict in Iran has raised significant concerns among military families, particularly those with loved ones deployed or potentially facing deployment. In military-heavy communities, the anxiety surrounding these uncertainties is palpable. At Fort Care, we recognize the unique challenges these families face and are committed to providing the support they need.
Fort Care's Mission to Support Military Families
Since our inception in 2019, Fort Care has focused on serving military families in Nashville, Tennessee. With an official U.S. military MOU, we are one of only three organizations authorized to operate on base. Our mission is to alleviate some of the stress and anxiety that military families experience, especially during tumultuous times like these.
We have delivered over 115,000 honor packages, hosted more than 254 on-base events, and contributed over 72,000 volunteer hours to ensure that military families feel recognized and supported. Our efforts aim to foster a sense of community and pride among those who serve.
